Soldier’s Son Writes A Touching Note That Will Bring Tears To Your Eyes

Who is your hero? Maybe it’s someone in your life, or someone from your past? It could even just be a famous person or an unreal character. But no matter who they are, they will always inspire you to achieve your goals and get what you most want in your life.

We have heard many stories about heroes in this world, but in this article, we are going to tell you the touching story of a little boy and his own hero. We are sure that this note will touch your heart and make you cry. Scroll down to read the story!

“My Hero

My hero is the Marine who saved my dad’s life. His name is LCpl David Houck and he was from North Carolina.

In 2004 my dad went to Iraq and was in charge of a few Marines. One day, bad people were shooting at them and they got stuck in a house. Then LCpl David Houck found out that the bad people were in a room. When he opened the door he used his body as a shield to protect my dad and his Marines from getting shot.

Because of him, my dad was able to come home to us. He is in heaven now but we will never forget him because my new baby brother is named David Hawk La Force! I wish I can thank him one day.”
